Delivery options
- Farm-gate pickup — buyer or AgroDash-assigned logistics partner collects from the farm.
- Warehouse staging — produce moves into a certified warehouse for grading, sorting, and storage before onward sale.
- Direct buyer warehouse — produce delivered straight to the buyer's address (DDP).
- Local collection point — drop at an aggregator or cooperative collection centre, useful for smaller consignments.
- AgroDash logistics — platform-managed end-to-end shipping, with the buyer covering the freight component.
Timeline & tracking
Once an order is placed, the linked logistics provider is notified, a delivery assignment is created with a tracking number, and the farmer/buyer can monitor status changes (assigned → picked up → in transit → delivered → cleared) on their dashboard. A clearance PIN is issued at warehouse pickup so only the verified driver can release the consignment.
Cold chain & perishables
Horticultural produce (avocado, mango, citrus, leafy greens) is routed through cold-storage warehouses where available. The pricing engine accounts for cold-chain premiums automatically when the warehouse and the buyer support it.
Costs & transparency
Logistics fees are quoted up-front and split clearly: the produce price goes to the farmer, the freight component goes to the logistics provider, and the platform commission (5%) is shown line-by-line. Storage fees are set per warehouse and disclosed at intake — see your warehouse partner's rates on their profile page.
Cross-border
Export consignments go through the SPS / phytosanitary clearance flow on the platform. The lab-test trail (cupping score, SPS pass, dry-matter grade) and the GPS-verified planting record together form the audit pack required for EUDR-style compliance.
Issues with a delivery?
Open a dispute on the order from your dashboard, or email support@agro-dash.org. Funds in escrow are held until the dispute is resolved — neither party loses out.
