Who can use AgroDash

AgroDash is open to verified farmers, cooperatives, buyers, millers, warehouses, logistics providers, quality assessors, input suppliers, field agents, and financial institutions. You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into binding contracts. Identity is verified through KYC; we may suspend or terminate any account that submits fraudulent information.

How transactions work

  • Buyers pay into a platform-managed escrow at order time.
  • Funds are held until the delivery is verified — either by buyer confirmation or by automated triggers (warehouse receipt, lab clearance, etc.).
  • Once verified, funds release to the seller minus the platform's 5% commission and any logistics or storage fees disclosed at order time.
  • Disputes pause the release until resolved through the platform's dispute process.

What we promise

  • To safeguard funds in escrow with the same care as a regulated payment institution.
  • To keep traceability and quality records accurate and tamper-evident.
  • To verify counterparties before they can transact at scale.
  • To support disputes fairly — no party is paid until verified delivery on disputed orders.

What you agree to

  • Provide accurate KYC, farm, and harvest information; misrepresentation can lead to account suspension and forfeiture of funds in escrow.
  • Honour orders you accept; cancellation after escrow funding may incur a platform fee.
  • Not misuse the platform — no fraud, no spam, no scraping, no impersonation, no listing of prohibited goods.
  • Comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction (export controls, phytosanitary rules, tax obligations).

Liability

AgroDash provides the platform; we do not own the produce, the farms, or the warehouses. We mediate transactions and provide infrastructure but cannot guarantee crop quality, market price, or counterparty performance beyond the escrow protection we offer. Our maximum aggregate liability for any single transaction is capped at the platform commission collected on that transaction.

Termination

You can deactivate your account at any time. We may suspend accounts for KYC failures, payment fraud, or violations of these terms. Funds in escrow at the time of termination are settled per the dispute process before account closure.

Changes

We'll notify you of material changes by email and on your dashboard 30 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after that constitutes acceptance.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. Disputes that can't be resolved on-platform go to the courts of Nairobi, Kenya.
